Hire Purchase Inspection (HPI)

As protection for both consumers and financial institutions, Hire Purchase Inspection (HPI) is important prior to approval of a hire purchase loan. The Ministry of Domestic Trade, Co-operatives And Consumerism (MDTCC) is aware and concerned about safeguarding both parties and therefore the Ministry has come out with an Act to make HPI mandatory to protect consumers and to enhance the second hand motor vehicle industry.

As the authorized vehicle inspection company, PUSPAKOM is responsible for performing HPI before approval given by financial institutions..
